CHAINSAW PCB
This is the Heavy Metal DIY PCB that needed to exist. For starters, some through-hole components are becoming increasingly difficult to source, mainly the J201/2n5457 transistors. That is why this PCB is designed to have every option available for your JFET transistor. You can choose to use an smd201, 2n5457, J201, or a 2SK30. Use "Q1" or "Q2," NOT both. I use "Q2" (smd201). In addition to the future-proofing of the JFET, "C20" is labeled with an "+" showing polarity in case you choose to populate that with an electrolytic capacitor. I use a (1u5) film capacitor in this location.
L.E.D. is off-board wired from "9O" (9v Out). I would suggest a 10k ohm resistor as your "CLR" (current limiting resistor).
